Join Our Team

Damage restoration is not glamorous work. You show up to someone’s worst day, you pull wet flooring at 2 a.m., you set drying equipment in a house that smells like a slab leak that’s been going for three days, and then you come back the next morning to check the readings. What makes that worth doing is being the person who actually fixes it – not the one who slaps a coat of paint over a problem and disappears. At Keegan Water Damage Restoration, every job runs to The Garrison Standard: price in writing before anything starts, equipment set up by the book, and a one-year written guarantee on the work. If you want to be part of a crew that does the job right the first time and stands behind it, keep reading.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Water Damage Restoration Technician: Someone who can set and monitor drying equipment with discipline, read moisture readings accurately, and document every step without cutting corners.
  • Mold Remediation Technician: A detail-oriented worker who understands containment, knows why cross-contamination matters, and does not rush the containment teardown.
  • Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician: Someone with patience for fine cleaning work and a clear understanding that soot migration is a real problem if you skip steps.
  • Restoration Apprentice: No experience required – a person who is reliable, shows up on time, keeps their head down to learn the trade, and is ready to be coached hard in the first six months.
  • Dispatcher and Job Coordinator: A calm, organized communicator who can manage multiple active jobs, relay accurate information between crews and customers, and understand why the arrival window we gave a homeowner is not optional.
  • Customer Service and Claims Support: Someone who can talk a stressed-out homeowner through the documentation process, keep the insurance side of a job organized, and represent Keegan professionally on every call.

What We Offer

Real Training and a Clear Path Forward

We train to IICRC, RIA, and IFA industry standards – not to a proprietary checklist someone made up. Starting as an apprentice means working alongside experienced technicians, learning the real names for real equipment like Dri-Eaz and Phoenix drying systems, and understanding why each step of a job is done in a specific order. Technicians who put in the work move into lead roles. There is a path here, and it is not a vague one.

Work You Can Stand Behind

Every job at Keegan is governed by The Garrison Code: show up inside the window, price in writing before any work starts, do it by the book the first time, leave the site clean and squared away, and stand behind the work for a full year. When you work on a job that’s run that way, you can tell people what you do without hedging. That matters more than most people realize until they’ve worked somewhere that doesn’t operate that way.

Local Crew, National Backing

Each Keegan location is independently owned and operated. You are working with a local team, not being dispatched from a corporate call center a thousand miles away. At the same time, you have access to the Garrison Partners infrastructure – professional-grade equipment, documented job protocols, and the weight of a brand that has been running to the same standard since 2005. It is a combination most restoration companies cannot offer on either end.

Steady, Necessary Work

Water damage doesn’t pause for a slow quarter. Fires happen. Mold doesn’t wait for spring. Restoration technicians are needed across every season, in every kind of housing market, and that demand is not going away. The work is physically demanding and the hours can be irregular, but if you want a trade that will need you, this is one of them.

No Experience? Read This.

If you’ve done any kind of skilled labor – plumbing, flooring, HVAC, construction cleanup, even military service in a maintenance or logistics role – you are closer to being a restoration technician than you think. The instincts transfer: following a procedure without skipping steps, reading a room for what’s wrong, and caring whether the job is actually finished or just finished-looking.

What we teach is the restoration-specific part: how moisture moves through building materials, how to interpret readings from drying equipment like the units in our Dri-Eaz and XPOWER fleet, how IICRC drying standards work and why they exist, and how to document a job so the homeowner’s insurance claim holds together. In the first few months, you work alongside a lead technician on every job. You’re not handed a truck and a checklist on day two. The pace is real, but the support is real too.
